Cardz2
An Angel Trademark

Mardi Gras 3000, Angel Battle Tops, the characters and much of their lexicon is trademarked but to utilize some of these aspects you just need to get involved in the community writing in the world. But there's also Cardz2

What is Cardz2?

Originally, MG3K was designed with standard, rectangular cards. After we began to play test the "Alpha Deck," however, the shape really wasn't working for me. I knew I wanted players (and collectors) to be able to store the cards in standard sheets and sleeves so I couldn't deviate too far for the norm. Finally, it was a fabulous "old school" game that I kept coming back to--Dungeonquest by Games Workshop. Though it wasn't the first or last game to use square tiles to randomly generate a new playing board with each game, it was the only game I never tired of.

With MG3K (and my other games) I wanted all the cards to be the same size so that terrain cards and other cards might be cross-game compatible. Plus, the mechanics of the Stacked gaming system allowed me to do incredible things with rotating modifier cards. Square cards were the logical step and I found them visually appealing as well.
