Mardi Gras 3000 combines elements of table top gaming, collectible card games, and role-playing all into one intensely addictive game with a rich and haunting mythology. The card game itself can be laid back or furious, but play occurs in an eight-card by eight-card playing area. Though not unduly difficult, some players find it cumbersome to visualize coordinates on a table, detracting from game play. Having a printed Grid with A through H, and 1 through 8 marked coordinates, speeds up every action.
All official Grids come in four heavy stock 11-inch square pieces that fit together to form the full-sized 22-inch square Grid. Whether setting your Terrain, moving your Immortal in Vanish, or dropping and re-dropping the Grail, a printed Grid allows you to concentrate on your strategy and completely eliminates accidental off-Grid placement during initial set up.
